Nestled on the banks of the Brisbane River, Newstead House was the perfect backdrop for a fire-fuelled culinary event, and Flexible Neon was proud to bring the light.
For this unique experience, we blended modern lighting tech with old-world charm:

✨ Festoon Lighting: We draped our warm white festoons along the historical house’s railings and extended them out in a dramatic V-formation using our 3.5m festoon poles, creating a golden canopy in the courtyard where guests enjoyed live fire-cooked feasts.

🔥 Fire Feature Lighting: A powerful solar floodlight illuminated the open fire pit, making sure the meats – slow-cooked and seared to perfection – became the centrepiece they deserved to be.

🎶 Stage Ambience: Our RGBW 250W floodlight lit up the giant tree behind the band, adding depth and drama to the performance space.

🚶♂️ Pathway Guidance: Guests arrived by boat and followed a charmingly lit path from the jetty thanks to our solar spotlights. These compact, battery-powered lights were ideal for the no-power zone – subtle, yet effective.
With every detail considered, we ensured the lighting wasn’t just functional, but elevated the entire atmosphere. Whether it’s a heritage venue or a remote space, we specialise in bringing events to life – even when power is out of reach.
